Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-02-14

This privacy policy explains how Dark Sail d.o.o. processes personal data of the website visitors.

1. Hosting

This website is hosted on Google Cloud, which processes your IP address to deliver content securely and maintain site stability (for example, preventing DDoS attacks). We have a Data Processing Addendum in place with Google to ensure your data is handled according to GDPR standards.

Accessing the website generates anonymized logs containing the URL, which we may manually analyze for UTM tags to determine marketing effectiveness. Because this data is stripped of identifying details immediately upon collection, it cannot be linked to you.

2. Cookies

This website uses HTTP cookies to provide you a better experience and store your preferences.

2.1. Functional Cookies

This website does not use analytics or tracking software. The only cookies we use are to store your preferences regarding optional features, which do not contain personal data.

2.2. Optional Cookies

We use the official Steam store widget to provide game information and a direct "one-click" wishlist link. Enabling this feature allows Valve Corporation to process your IP address and set cookies. You can find more information in the Steam Privacy Policy.

We use YouTube to host gameplay trailers and other videos. Enabling this feature allows Google to set cookies and track video playback data. You can find more information in the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube privacy explainer.

3. Newsletter

We use MailerLite to manage our newsletter and act as our data processor. Subscribing grants consent to process your email for sending you news and updates about Dark Sail Studio products and services. You can find more information in the MailerLite Privacy Policy.

You can unsubscribe instantly via any email link, or by sending us a request at privacy@darksail.net to delete your data within 30 days.
